47 Réserve Naturelle SAINT MARTIN Une réunion du Conseil scientifique territorial du patrimoine naturel (CSTPN) s’est déroulée en préfecture le 29 novembre 2023 afin de faire le point sur son activité sur l’année écoulée. Il a notamment été question de la stratégie de gestion de la population de singes verts et de faire le bilan annuel des avis rendus par ce collège de spécialistes pour l’octroi de dérogations espèces protégées. Ce fut également l’occasion de procéder à un vote. Le point annuel du Conseil scientifique local Action MS36 – Rencontrer et échanger avec les gestionnaires des espaces naturels protégés des Petites Antilles Julien Chalifour président du CSTPN Organe consultatif créé en 2019, composé de 19 spécialistes désignés pour leurs compétences scientifiques et animé par la préfecture, le CSTPN était jusque-là présidé par Michel Vély, directeur des services vétérinaires, récemment parti à la retraite. Julien Chalifour, responsable du pôle scientifique à la réserve et alors vice-président assurant l’intérim depuis ce départ, a été élu président. Océane Beaufort, de l’association guadeloupéenne Kap Natirel, chef de projet et coordinatrice du réseau Reguar, a été élue vice-présidente. A meeting of the Territorial Scientific Council for Natural Heritage (CSTPN) took place at the prefecture on November 29, 2023, to review its activity over the past year. The meeting particu- larly focused on the management strategy of the green monkey population and the annual review of opinions rendered by this group of specialists for the granting of derogations for protected species. It was also an opportunity to conduct a vote. Julien Chalifour, head of the scientific department at the reserve and interim vice-president since his departure, was elected president. Océane Beaufort, from the Guadeloupean association Kap Natirel, project manager and coordinator of the Reguar network, was elected vice-president.
