9 Réserve Naturelle SAINT MARTIN Action CS5 Suivi des biocénoses marines en et hors réserve (priorité 1) Le 24 septembre 2021, Julien Chalifour était présent au comité local Ifrecor (Initiative française pour les récifs cor- alliens) de Saint-Barthélemy, à double titre : en sa qual- ité d’expert scientifique et en tant que représentant du comité local Ifrecor de Saint-Martin. Il s’est agi de faire le point sur les actions conduites par le comité en 2021 à Saint-Barthélemy – suivi des rejets d’eaux usées de la station d’épuration, collaboration avec une association en charge de restauration coralienne et de revégétalisation des plages et d’une manière générale toute action visant à limiter l’impact sur les herbiers et les récifs – et d’évoquer les projets pour 2022. Les actions Ifrecor à Saint-Barthélemy Action MS35  Renforcer les partenariats avec Saint Barthélemy (priorité 1) Le comité local Ifrecor de Saint-Martin est toujours en phase de structuration. En effet, seuls les élus locaux ont la possibilité de demander officiellement la création d’un comité local, déjà officieusement reconnu par l’Ifrecor. Action CS5 Study marine biocenoces in and outside the Réserve (Priority 1) On September 24, 2021, Julien Chalifour met with the local committee of IFRECOR (French Initiative For Coral Reefs) in Saint Barthélemy, wearing two hats; as a scien- tific expert and as the representative of the local IFRE- COR committee in Saint Martin. The aim was to provide an update on the committee’s activities 2021 in Saint Barthélemy—a study on wastewater from the water treat- ment plant, collaboration with an association working on coral restoration and the replanting of vegetation along beaches, and a general attempt to limit the impact on underwater plant beds and reefs—and to shed light on projects for 2022. IFRECOR Activities in Saint Barthélemy Action MS35  Reinforce partnerships with Saint Barthélemy (Priority 1) The local IFRECOR committee of Saint Martin is still in its initial structuring phase.
