11 Réserve Naturelle SAINT MARTIN Action CS16  Suivre les échouages et les individus en détresse (priorité 1) Dans le cadre du PNA en faveur des tortues marines, Aude Berger et Julien Chalifour ont participé à une formation con- sacrée aux échouages de ces animaux sur le rivage. Organisée par l’ONF et l’association Evasion Tropicale, référente pour les échouages en Guadeloupe, cette formation était accessible en visioconférence depuis Saint-Martin. Cette formation sera complétée en Janvier 2022 par une formation à la nécropsie des animaux échoués organisée en Guadeloupe. Comment devez-vous réagir en cas d’échouage de tortue ? Que l’animal soit mort ou blessé, il est impératif de ne pas le toucher et le premier impératif est d’appeler la réserve naturelle au + 0590 6 90 34 77 10 afin de signaler cet échouage et le lieu précis où se trouve la tortue. Les agent piloteront la gestion de l’échouage : identification de l’espèce, sa taille, la cause prob- able de la mort, l’enlèvement... Toutes ces informations partici- pent à la mise en place de mesures de gestion de la population de tortues marines. En 2021, 9 cadavres de tortues échouées ont été observées à Saint-Martin, dont 7 possiblement des suites d’une collision avec un engin nautique. Tortue échouée : que faire ? Action CS16  Study the beaching of individual marine animals in distress (Priority 1) As part of the National Sea Turtle Plan for the conservation of sea turtles, Aude Berger and Julien Chalifour participated in training about the beaching of these animals on the shore. In 2021, nine beached turtle cadavers were observed in Saint Martin, of which seven were possibly the result of a collision with a boat engine.
