The nine students, all adults, learned about the various missions of La Réserve Naturelle, about the island’s ecosystems, and about the Life program for the protection of groupers. On Wednesday, March 19, ten participants were able to visit Salines d’Orient and the rich ecosystem found in this wetlands area. The morning of Saturday, March 22 was dedicated to a guided walk along the Sentier des Froussards, and the afternoon was time for a virtual dive into the underwater world of La Réserve at their Hope Estate center. A virtual dive for the Fête de la Nature Action PA8 Participate in local events Aude Berger, chargée de mission du programme Life Bio- div’Om en faveur de la conservation du mérou de Nassau et du mérou géant, a rencontré une nouvelle classe, en formation au tourisme au centre Fore. Les neuf étudiants, tous adultes, ont été sensibilisés aux missions de la réserve naturelle, aux écosys- tèmes de son territoire et au programme Life pour la sauvegarde des mérous. 9 étudiants formés au programme Life Biodiv’Om A l’occasion de la 15ème édition de la Fête de laNature, la réserve naturelle a proposé un programme de découverte de son territoire, en collaboration avec EDF Archipel Guadeloupe. Le mercredi 19 mars, une dizaine de participants a pu découvrir les Salines d’Orient et le riche écosystème de cette zone humide. Lematin du samedi 22 mars a été consacré au sentier des Froussards, à l’occa- sion d’une randonnée commentée, et l’après-midi à une plongée virtuelle dans les fonds marins de la réserve, dans les locaux de la réserve, à Hope Estate.
