32 Réserve Naturelle SAINT MARTIN éserve aturelle I I Action CC2  Editer et diffuser des supports de communication sur le patrimoine naturel (priorité 1) Comme prévu fin 2020, le panneau promis par Re- becca James à la Réserve naturelle a été installé en bordure de la plage de baie Blanche, à Tintamarre. Ce panneau a été financé par le NWO Caribbean dans le cadre du projet SCENES, en remerciement du soutien de la Réserve aux travaux menés par cette je- une doctorante sur l’importance du rôle stabilisateur des herbiers face à l’érosion littorale. Bilingue français / anglais, le panneau a vocation à sensibiliser le pub- lic aux services écosystémiques rendus gratuitement par les herbiers : prévention de l’érosion littorale, mais aussi nurserie, nourricerie, production de sable, clarté des eaux côtières… Ces prairies sous-marines sont fragilisées par l’introduction via les ancres des bateaux de l’espèce exotique envahissante Halophila , mais aussi les pollutions.
