11 Réserve Naturelle SAINT MARTIN éserve aturelle I I Depuis 2007, la Réserve naturelle assure son suivi scientifique annuel des récifs et herbiers, qui s’est déroulé en 2019 du 9 au 12 septem- bre, avec le concours d’un garde de la Ré- serve guadeloupéenne de Petite-Terre. Il était venu aider l’équipe de Saint-Martin à docu- menter l’évolution de l’état des communautés coraliennes et d’herbiers, sur les stations de récifs et d’herbiers habituelles, dans et hors de la Réserve. Cette année, ce suivi pérenne a été complété par un suivi des mérous, dans le cadre du programme LIFE, sur quatre des huit sites visités. Ces sites feront l’objet d’un suivi bi-annuel pendant toute la durée du pro- gramme LIFE, soit jusqu’en 2023. Comme à l’habitude, ce compagnonnage a vu l’équipe de Saint-Martin prêter main-forte à Saint-Barth et à Petite-Terre dans les mêmes conditions. Aude Berger s’est rendue à Petite-Terre du 15 au 17 novembre et Vincent Oliva à Saint- Barth du 20 au 22 novembre. In 2019, this took place on September 9-12, with the support of a representative from the Réserve Guadeloupéenne de Petite-Terre. He came to help the staff in Saint Martin document the evolution of the overall health of the cor- al communities and sea grass beds, at sta- tions both in and outside of the perimeters of the Réserve. This year, this ongoing study was complemented by a study of groupers, as part of the LIFE program, on four of the eight sites that were observed. These sites will be the focus of a bi-annual study, until the conclusion of the LIFE program in 2023. As usual, this cooperation also saw the team from Saint Martin lend a hand to Saint Barth and Petite-Terre under the same conditions. Aude Berger went to Petite-Terre on Novem- ber 15-17 and Vincent Oliva to Saint Barth on November 20-22.
