25 Under the auspices of the Conservatoire du Littoral, the Council of French Shores in America (CRFA) held its plenary session in Saint Martin this year on June 18-20 at the CCISM. The two days of meetings were dedicated to a review of activities com- pleted during the year, as well as a look at future projects, with an eye to best pre- serving the coastlines in French Guyana, Guadeloupe, Martinique, Saint Barth, and Saint Martin. Solicited to speak on behalf of the Réserve Naturelle, Nicolas Maslach stressed the importance of strengthening the partnerships with those that defend the interests of the Réserve and its regu- lations. He also noted that with a spirit of impartiality and goodwill, the Réserve serves as a tool that is put to the service of Saint Martin and its population. Les deux journées de travail ont été consacrées aux actions réalisées dans l’année et aux projets à venir, l’idée étant de préserver au mieux les littoraux de Guyane, de Guadeloupe, de Martinique, de Saint-Barth et de Saint-Martin. Sollicité pour s’exprimer au nom de la Réserve naturelle, Nicolas Maslach a mis en avant le fait qu’il était important de conforter les partenariats défendant les intérêts de la Réserve et sa réglementation. Il a souligné l’état d’esprit d’impartialité et de bienveil- lance, et surtout la volonté de la Réserve d’être un outil au service de Saint-Martin et des Saint-Martinois.
