18 Des riverains s’étant plaints de nuisances so- nores et de remblais entre la route principale et l’étang de Chevrise, les agents de la Réserve naturelle sont allés sur les lieux pour constater les faits. Ils ont pu voir qu’une pelleteuse avait creusé sur 3 à 4 mètres de profondeur au niveau du funérarium et qu’un gros volume de déblais avait été utilisé pour remblayer en contrebas de l’étang, mais pas sur sa partie en eau, lui-même affecté au Conservatoire du littoral et donc géré par la Réserve. La nature des matériaux, en cas de fortes pluies, représente toutefois une réelle menace d’envasement pour l’étang et la Ré- serve reste vigilante en surveillant l’évolution de ce chantier. Une expertise complémentaire sera prochainement entreprise pour confirmer ou non l’empiétement des dépôts de matériaux sur l’espace classé en arrêté de protection biotope et ainsi engager des poursuites. There they could see that a mechanical shovel had dug between three and four meters deep, close to the funeral parlor, and a large volume of earth and rubble had been used to fill in below the pond, but not where the water is, and that area belongs to the Conservatoire du Littoral and is managed by the Réserve. Yet the nature of the material, especially in case of heavy rain, rep- resents a real threat of creating silt in the pond, and the Réserve remains vigilant in its surveil- lance of this worksite. Additional expertise will determine if such encroachment by depositing such materials on land already classified under a biotope protection order is possible, and see what to do about it.
