M i-décembre, la Réserve s’est attaquée au nettoyage de l’îlet Pinel et notamment à l’ar- rière de la plage, au sud, squattée depuis plus de vingt ans sans droit ni titre par un par- ticulier. Cet individu a été informé qu’il pou- vait récupérer ses affaires personnelles sous quinzaine, le reste de son installation ayant été brûlé sur place. Irma n’a pas épargné Pinel : le ponton et le carbet du sentier sous-marin ont disparu, ainsi que l’un des deux carbets du sentier de découverte, l’autre étant quasiment détruit. Il reste à présent à sécuriser le site en déblayant les débris présentant un danger pour le public. Fin décembre, la Réserve s’est déplacée à Tintamare, où les six tables en bois scellées dans des blocs de béton ont été déplacées en arrière plage par Irma, et bien sûr abimées.
